Welcome to CocoMitra. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the CocoMitra website and our trained-nanny booking and matching services (the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. About our service

CocoMitra helps parents and guardians book trained, carefully screened nannies for in-home childcare support for flexible durations. We facilitate matching based on the preferences you share; availability depends on caregivers near you. CocoMitra does not guarantee a specific caregiver or outcome.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement to use the Services. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account and contact details up to date. You are responsible for activity that takes place through your account.

3. Bookings

  • When you submit a booking request, you share details such as date, duration, your child's age and routine, language and care preferences.
  • A booking is confirmed only once CocoMitra matches a suitable caregiver and notifies you. Instant bookings are subject to nearby availability.
  • Your home address and care details are shared with the confirmed caregiver to deliver the session.

4. Cancellations & changes

You may request changes or cancellations as described during booking. Cancellation timelines and any applicable charges will be communicated before you confirm. We may cancel or reschedule a session where a suitable caregiver is unavailable or for safety reasons.

5. Parent responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information about your child's needs, routine, allergies and any special instructions.
  • Ensure a safe environment for the caregiver and child during the session.
  • Remain reachable and provide accurate contact and address details.

6. Caregiver conduct

Nannies complete a structured onboarding covering care practices, child engagement, hygiene expectations and communication etiquette, and are expected to follow parent instructions and the child's routine. Caregivers act with care and professionalism, but no service can promise perfect outcomes.

7. Payments

Pricing for sessions will be shown before you confirm a booking, once applicable. Payment terms, methods and any taxes or fees will be described at that time. This section will be updated as paid bookings become available.

8. Safety & honest expectations

We take safety seriously through caregiver screening, structured training and parent-guided care. However, CocoMitra does not make absolute guarantees of safety or results. You remain responsible for decisions about your child's care, and you should raise any concerns with us promptly.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CocoMitra is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your information.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
